Here is why we recommend EFA Ultra:
Why take internal supplements like EFA’s?
EFA stands for Essential Fatty Acids. They are essential because your body cannot produce them, hence they must be consumed. We all have good intentions to stick to a healthy nutrient rich diet, however it is extremely hard to get all of your body’s needs from solely your diet. That is why we always turn to EFA’s to help! https://www.soulskin.com.au/product/efa-ultra
At Soul skin we take skin care and internal supplements pretty seriously, we only recommend what we have tried and can completely back with full trust. If you’ve visited us for your skin you probably already know we like to start each individual skin journey with an Essential Fatty Acid supplement, a must in everyone’s skin diet. They are designed for all skin conditions and work to repair the skin barrier and to reduce water loss (Dehydration). On a cellular level, they improve cell function and the quality of the oil, reduce inflammation and internally hydrate the skin. This is only the beginning of what these magical little capsules can help with!
Why choose DMK EFA’s over my local supermarket or chemist supplements?
DMK EFA Ultra is formulated to go above and beyond what your standard supermarket omega supplement can do. A question we are often asked is “What’s the difference between EFA Ultra and your fish oil from the supermarket?” It’s all about quality over quantity when it comes to your health and vitality. The majority of over the counter fish oils are from large farmed fish, high in Mercury and low in EFA’s, so you’re not actually getting the full benefits that you might think. Not to mention what these fish are fed (usually synthetic, GMO food sources) So a synthetic diet meaning the ingredients sourced from these fish is synthetic.
Method of Ingredient Extraction;
Many skincare supplements on the market claim that they contain various ingredients that have been proven to be beneficial for your skin. While it may be true that those products may contain the stated ingredients, it is also possible that the way those ingredients were extracted more or less rendered them ineffectual.
For example, you will often come across labelling that states that the ingredients used were extracted using the cold press method of extraction. Many manufacturers try to keep production costs low, so they soak the seeds in solvents as a way of extracting the ingredients cheaply. This method destroys many of the active ingredients contained in the seeds, so you are likely to end up with a low quality results and product despite your consistent adherence to the usage instructions provided.
Our approach is different. We emphasise product purity, so we opted to go with the costlier method of extracting ingredients from sea buckthorn seeds and Evening Primrose using carbon dioxide. While expensive, carbon dioxide extraction enables us to authoritatively assert that our EFA Ultra supplement will give you the results that you desire (since all the proven ingredients are intact).
Skin Loving Ingredients:
They are rich in Omega 3, 6, 7 and 9, derived from Sea buckthorn Seed Oil, Evening Primrose oil, Pure organic Coconut Oil, Mekabu Seaweed Extract, and Fucoidan, which provides the skin with more than 190 bioactive phytonutrients.
Sea buckthorn Seed Oil: Contains Omega 3, 6, 7. It scavenges those free radicals and prevents against oxidative stress.
Evening Primrose Oil: or EPO was traditionally used amongst royalty for its ‘majestic’ and ‘honourable’ cosmetic and medicinal properties; Evening primrose oil has long been affiliated with beautiful skin. It is a rich source of abundant essential fatty acids. The constituents are known to exhibit potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, helping to reduce acne. EPO promotes moisture retention in skin and hair, facilitates in wound healing and reduces the visible signs of ageing by maintaining skin elasticity. Systemically it nourishes is the immune, nervous, cardiovascular and reproductive systems
Organic Coconut Oil: Another key reason why you would be well advised to take EFA Ultra is because it contains raw, organic coconut oil. As you may be aware, coconut oil doesn’t go rancid. You can therefore have no fear that the capsules you are ingesting have gone bad/rancid during the time when you store them in your home or while you travel. Coconut oil Is also one of the richest sources of medium-chain fatty acids, it has extraordinary anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It has been shown to improve wound healing and skin rejuvenation, bone health and optimal thyroid function.
Mekabu Seaweed Extract with Fucoidans: Contains a high level of unique phytonutrients, that research has shown to nurture the immune system as they are fight off pathogens and inhibit cell proliferation. Fucoidans contain magnesium, iodine, calcium, iron, vitamins A, C, E, K, D and B2, all of which play a vital role in the optimal function and appearance of the skin.
and in summary, the results WILL show Sooner.
Whilst you may have taken home the EFA Ultra to fix a skin issue, the overall approach is designed to improve you and your skin from the inside out, this can be a little bit of a process and your skin will show a marked improvement within just 21 days, and who doesn’t want healthier, supple, glowing skin in just 21 days!!
